Qualifications and Responsibilities

By appointed positions, we mean that you can submit your application and if after going through all the steps, you are considered to fill that position after and if the elected District Director for 2020/2021 ratify it. This means you will not have to go through the election process, nevertheless, it also means that the elected District Director can choose another person for your position, even if you were recommended by the District Leadership Committee.

By elected positions, we mean that you can submit your application and, if after going through all the steps, you are considered as a candidate for that position, and you will have to go through the election process.

Please note that due to Toastmasters Iberia’s growth, more positions might open for Area and/or Division Director. We advise you to talk to your current leaders, be attentive to the District webpage and also to the Newsletter to understand if more positions are opened.
To understand precisely what is expected from you in the role you are applying for, please check all information regarding the role you are applying for in the District Leadership Handbook.
We also advise you to talk to your current leaders about the work they are doing to better understand the challenges of the role.
